888poker LIVE 2020 tournament schedule announced

Calendar out – 888poker LIVE has released the 2020 schedule of its live poker tour!

The tour will return to well-known venues in London, Bucharest, Sochi and Tallinn. A new addition is Madrid. Also, 888poker LIVE has once again teamed up with the organizers of the Battles of Malta. More importantly, 888poker LIVE has teamed up with the World Series of Poker (WSOP) for the sixth consecutive year.

Details of the 888poker LIVE tour schedule 2020

The 888poker LIVE Tour heralds the New Year at the Casino Gran Via in the Spanish capital, Madrid. The tour starts on January 23rd and runs until February 3rd.

The festival is guaranteed to pay out €1 million, with €800,000 of that amount going to the 888poker LIVE Madrid €888 Main Event. 888poker already has several satellites and feeder tournaments running, and you can win a package for as little as $0.01.

Just a few days later, the tour stops in the UK at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in London. The 888poker LIVE London Weekend will take place from February 5th – 9th. You should expect to see a lot of players from the gaming industry as the event coincides with the London Affiliate Conference 2020 (LAC).

In the following month, from 23rd – 29th March, the festival will travel to the Romanian capital. In Bucharest, you will most likely not see any Dracula. Instead, there will be a large-scale poker festival. Last year, the €300,000 Guarantee in the Main Event was exceeded – 505 participants took the prize pool to €387,638. Darius Neagoe got for its victory €62,000 disbursed, and there was a $12,600-Package for the WSOP Main Event 2019.

Next up is back in Spain. Here the tour stops at one of the most popular venues: sunny Barcelona. Play will take place at the Casino Barcelona from May 14th – 25th. The casino is located directly on the beach. The players have the opportunity to soak up the Mediterranean sun away from the tables.

Qualifier tournaments for the WSOP Main Event 2020 & Crazy Eights at 888poker

Players from all over the world will be trying to qualify for the WSOP at the Rio Convention Center in Las Vegas via 888poker. 888poker not only sponsors the popular Crazy Eights tournament, which takes place in late June. Instead, they will – once again – be holding countless qualifier tournaments for the 2020 WSOP Main Event. For the Main Event, make sure to make a note of July 1st – 14th.

Following the WSOP, the Tour will host another festival at Casino Sochi from August 6th – 14th. Find out for yourself what the much-discussed Russian poker resort is all about.

It’s hardly a few weeks until the festival from September 1st – 7th at the Olympic Park Casino in the Estonian capital will be the talk of the town. For the first time since 2016, Tallinn will be the place to be for poker. The event is expected to attract not only qualifiers but also players from neighbouring Scandinavian and Baltic countries.

In October, 888poker will be back at Casino Malta for the Battle of Malta. Last year, the Battle of Malta Main Event more than doubled its €1,000,000 guarantee. There were 4,657 entries, which added up to €2,258,645 in the prize pool.

As in 2019, the tour closes the year at Aspers Casino in London. The starting shot will be fired here on November 16th, and on November 29th everything will be over.

888poker LIVE partnership with CNP Spain

But that’s not all. 888poker LIVE is working with CNP Spain Tour for five local events in 2020. They will be playing in Valencia (17th-23rd February), Malaga (20th-26th April), Seville (15th-21st June), Alicante (7th-13th September) and Madrid (13th-23rd November).
