GTA Online could now finally let you into the casino after 5 years

In the online mode of GTA 5, GTA Online could soon launch a huge number. The opening of the casino. Fans have been waiting for this since its release in 2013. Now there are tangible signs that something is happening with a new update.

What’s new? The casino in GTA Online has been employing players for more than 5 years. Again and again, the hope comes up that Rockstar will finally open it with an update.

The building has been on the map of Los Santos since the beginning. In 2013 the online mode of GTA 5 started but didn’t let the players into the casino. All you can do is walk around, watch the casino’s commercials, or board across the parking lots.

But in the last update, something has changed at the casino. As Dataminer TezFunz2 reports on Twitter, the casino update could appear in a few days.

Casino in GTA Online – When can I enter?

That’s what the Dataminer says: TezFunz2 writes on Twitter: There have been rumours that the next update for GTA Online will be about the casino. I can confirm that.

Rockstar has just updated the background script with specific data that makes changes to the casino.

You’ll notice the changes near the casino, the closer we get to the release.

When are the changes coming? The Dataminer gives even more context to the statement. It says that the area around the casino will change. You should check next week.

What will change at the casino? TezFunz2 explains that new ones will replace some items around the casino. “Rockstar will soon make it look as if the casino is under construction,” the Dataminer writes.

If you visit the casino (as of 6 June), you will see a garbage container, wooden slats and barriers in front of the entrance.

Why is this plausible? There have been many rumours that the casino should open online in GTA. But there was often a counter-argument in the players’ discussions that Rockstar might not be allowed to build gambling elements into the online game.

Recently, however, Rockstar unlocked the poker feature in Red Dead Online that many players wanted. This shows that such a function can work in online mode for Rockstars even if some players are excluded from poker.

As VG247 reports, with a second currency in the game that you can’t buy for real money, it would be possible to implement the casino and gambling in GTA Online. These could then be the well-known “chips” you use for gambling.

To the credibility of this theory contributes that the Dataminer TezFunz2 with such Leaks already kept right earlier.
