At Blick Esports Masters Cup 10’000 francs prize money was fought for

Four teams are qualified for the Counter Strike: Global Offensive Final of the Blick Esports Masters. The total prize money to be won was 10,000 Swiss francs.
The Counter Strike: Global Offensive Cup is a tournament of Blick Esports Masters. In a total of 4 events, the participants fight in the popular first-person shooter game “Counter Strike: Global Offensive” (CS:GO) for the qualification in the grand final and total prize money of 10,000 francs. The qualifications were held online in four sections. For the final, the qualified teams were then invited to Switzerland for the big offline showdown in Biberist.
Play mode
A “Best-of-3” is played, i.e. whoever wins 2 matches wins. Each match is played on a different card and is played as “Best-of-30”. Whoever wins 16 rounds first wins the match.
The teams “Team Prismatic” (DE) and “epikk esports” (CH) start the first match of the semi-final and “epikk esports” wins both matches. Match number one ends rather close with a 16:14, in match number two it becomes much clearer with a 16:7.
In the second semi-final “BIG OMEN Academy” (DE) will compete against “Fragbox Gaming” (CH). After two very one-sided matches “BIG OMEN Academy” wins with a 16:6 and 16:1. A bitter pill for the Swiss team.
In the final are “epikk esports” and “BIG OMEN Academy”. Once again, a best-of-3 will be played. It’s about 5000 francs. The Swiss win match one with a 16:9 victory. In the second match, “BIG” finds its way back into the game and makes a comeback with a 16:12. The last and decisive round, both teams give their all. “epikk esports” has problems keeping up with their opponents, the match with a 16:8 for the guys from “BIG OMEN Academy”.
The Germans from “BIG OMEN Academy” take home 5000 francs. For “epikk esports” in second place there is prize money of 2500 francs for the two teams in third place one of 1250 francs.
