At the end of the month, the famous Dusk Till Dawn casino in Nottingham will host partypoker MILLIONS UK with an entry fee of $10,300 and a guarantee of $5 million.
But before the poker tables went up, owner Rob Yong made a remarkable decision.
He had the casino tables removed from the casino once opened as a poker club, which means that the DTD will only offer live poker and slot machines in the future.
In a tweet, Yong informed about this measure and his motives:
Rob Yong:
Dear Dusk Till Dawn Members – here is a short note on why I decided to take the casino out of the club ahead of MILLIONS UK. Feels good for me that we can return to poker dedicated venue. KTF Rob
Among other reasons, Yong said that he opened the casino in 2007 because of poker and that he was never one hundred per cent happy that there were also casino tables.
Casino games offer mathematically guaranteed winnings, but not only do you have to endure drunken and unfriendly guests, but you also have to monitor the game closely.
Rob Yong had never seen himself as a casino owner, but always as a poker organizer, and now he has come a little closer to this job title!
