Patience is over. Late, but the Falcons still don’t know how to win this season. And against Carolina, Dan Quinn has put the final nail in his coffin as Atlanta head coach. With a 16:23 defeat, he was fifth that year.
The Panthers struggled to reflect their dominance on the field. In the first quarter as they could only put three points on Teddy Bridgewater’s long offensive.
Atlanta only delayed in the second quarter. Bridgewater was perfect with 182 yards and two touchdowns. And it shows the defence that couldn’t get close to him in the first half.
Panthers scored another capo and interception in the second half to end the Falcons’ nightmare. Also, win for the first time since 2014 at 23:16.
The Falcons are at 5-0, their worst start since the 8-0 the opener in 1996 when they set a 3-13 record, which, according to The Athletic, would see Atlanta face Dan Quinn.
