Swiss eSports Weekly: Fortnite Chapter 2 is here!

It was an eventful week for gamers and eSportsmen! Fortnite started a new era, and Swiss eSportsmen presented themselves successfully internationally.

Where should we start at all? Best of all with the biggest topic of the last week: Riot Games has finally earned the word “Games”! Until recently, the developer only had one game on the market, and now the number of games from Riot has multiplied overnight.

As part of the 10-year League of Legends stream, the developers gave an insight into the new lineup that will hit us next year. We were even able to test a game! You can find out which game it was and exactly what was announced in the Swiss eSports Weekly.

Let’s go into a new chapter

As Riot fans rejoiced, Fortnite players stared into a – literally – black hole early last week for the first time, instead of the usual Battle Royale action. Players and fans almost went crazy, because there was nothing with games.

After a few hours of suffering, the secret was revealed, and Fortnite players faced an almost entirely new game. Fortnite started in its “Chapter 2”, and that brought some innovations.

Also our moderator Reto was one of the sufferers and can tell first hand what exactly happened and what is new in Fortnite now. Even Stefy gets a bit curious to install the Epic Games game…

Swiss hold their own internationally once again

Switzerland, the eSports nation, has not had to hide from international competition for some time now. Again and again, our athletes manage to stand up to the big players. And this, although the events couldn’t be more different. Last week some of our players convinced again.
