CS:GO Asia Championships 2019

From 20th to 24th November the CS:GO Asia Championships 2019 will take place in Shanghai.
The tournament consists of eight teams divided into two groups. The teams will compete for a prize pool of 500,000 US dollars. Half of them will be taken home by the winner alone.

The schedule will be set during the tournament. This depends on the previous results and the development of the teams in the overall ranking.
The teams with the best results in the group phase advance to the semi-finals. The runners-up and runners-up move into the quarter-finals to fight for the last place in the semi-finals.
The whole tournament will be played in the best-of-three format. The group stage will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The playoffs include quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals and will be played on Saturday and Sunday.

The four winning teams TYLOO, MIBR, ENCE and mousesports have already secured a place in the playoffs thanks to their victory. On Thursday, the winning match will decide which of them will be allowed to enter the semi-finals directly and which of them will have to prove themselves again in the quarter-finals.
The four losers G2, Evil Geniuses, AVANGAR and ViCi Gaming, still have to tremble and prove in the elimination match that they are strong enough for the playoffs.
