Lottoland is trying to solve the Eurojackpot puzzle comprehensively

The bad publicity has caused Lottoland to go on the offensive. A spokeswoman explained: “The player did not win at Lottoland. The e-mail text must have been created by someone else, which is easily possible with forwarded e-mails”. It is denied that transaction problems existed.

Lottoland has turned the tables. It is to be examined even a legal procedure against the Cologne woman. Also, WestLotto said last week that Lottoland was a foreign operator offering its products in Germany without a licence. The company also contradicted this. There are licenses from Great Britain, Ireland and Italy. And thanks to the European freedom to provide services, the secondary lottery regards its services in Germany as legal. The winnings are insured and are usually paid out. Lottoland is putting the state monopoly to the test.

Gambling supervision in Malta: It would have been right to turn to the respective supervisory authority. They could have clarified the case without much fuss.

There are two possibilities here.

Firstly, she did not know that the drawings were already taking place on Friday and chose identical numbers by chance. Secondly, she was aware of the late submission and wanted to cheat the company. As there were discrepancies with the mails and the player’s statements, Lottoland is now considering legal action.
