There is movement again in the dried up eSports scene at PUBG. The Nations Cup, in which German players will also take part, has been announced.
The PUBG Corporation has announced the Nations Cup, which will take place at the beginning of August in Seoul, South Korea.
16 national teams will compete against each other during the competition, including one team from Germany.
The prize pool contains a proud 500,000 US dollars, which can be cleared by the teams.
The players will be selected in advance and will come from five different continents, including North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
Nations Cup to be a brilliant conclusion to PUBG summer
Jake Sin, Director of Central Esports for PUBG Corporation commented: “The Nations Cup, the first global eSports event of the year hosted by PUBG, is the embodiment of international competition that brings together the top players from around the world to represent their country.
Before the Nations Cup, which will take place from August 9 to 11, two major PUBG events are planned.
The GLL Grand Slam: PUBG Classic, which will mainly appeal to Western teams, will take place from 19 to July 21.
From 26 to July 28 the MET Asia Series will follow: PUBG Classic, which, as the name already promises, is primarily designed for the Asian region.
The players of the national teams of the respective countries for the Nations Cup have not yet been announced.
