Lotto Empties 28 Million Jackpot Guaranteed

Because the jackpot has not been won twelve times in a row, today’s draw does not necessarily require six correct numbers and the super number to win the main prize: If no one succeeds in scoring a total of seven direct hits in the first prize class, the sum of millions slips into the next lower prize class, as Westlotto reports. That means: For big money “only” six numbers without the right super number or even “only” five numbers can be enough.

The probability of hitting six right numbers and the super number is 1 in 140 million. If no one succeeds, the probability of winning in the second class with six numbers increases to 1 in 16 million, according to Westlotto. In third place in the “6 out of 49” lottery, it would then be 1:550,000.

According to Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, German lottery players deposited more than 1.77 billion euros in the first half of the year. Thus, “6 out of 49” accounted for about half of the total stakes, Eurojackpot for almost 603 million euros. According to information, 60 lottery players won millions in the first six months of this year.
