Arrogance accusation against Barca

FC Barcelona’s pros are bad losers in the 0-0 draw against Slavia Prague. Only keeper Marc-André ter Stegen shows greatness.

The frustration after the zero number against Slavia Prague in the Champions League was very deep for some FC Barcelona players.

Slavia keeper Ondrej Kolar was very disappointed about the behaviour of the Barca professionals after the final whistle and criticized the arrogant behaviour of Messi and Co.

“Messi and the others just left, some didn’t even shake hands with us,” said the 25-year-old keeper at iDNES.cz. “That was already sad. We wanted to meet these big players, swap jerseys with them. But they didn’t behave well.”

The Czech goalkeeper and his fellow Camp Nou players outgrew each other and took a point away from the high home favourite. So the Katalenen in the group with Borussia Dortmund must suddenly tremble for progress and must not lose in the next game against the BVB under any circumstances.

Slavia keeper Kolar praises Ter Stegen

Only Marc-André ter Stegen proved to be a fair loser. The German national keeper waited for his opponent in the tunnel after the match and praised Kolar for his performance.

“He said to me that he hadn’t seen such a good goalkeeper performance in a long time. Kolar had “goosebumps”. That he waited for me after the game was the ultimate award. Such words from such a good goalkeeper, that was fantastic.”
