Again PKO edition of Sunday Million

Just after the action-packed WCOOP weeks, PokerStars has announced that tomorrow’s Sunday Million will be played for the third time as a PKO tournament.

The $109 buy-in event starts Sunday at 7 pm with a bounty of $25 per player, which will increase progressively as the tournament progresses as you knock out more opponents.

The first PKO edition of the Sunday Million in March this year featured 9,892 players and 2,898 re-entries. The final winner, 42ayay, won $63,416 and $28,055 in Bountys.

WCOOP a complete success

Speaking of WCOOP: PokerStars’ biggest festival of the year exceeded all expectations, and the total prize pool broke the magical $100 million barrier. A whopping $104,733,989 was awarded in the course of 173,364 prizes.

Filipe “Zagazaur” Oliveira and Joao “Naza114” Vieira both won three titles at WCOOP, while “TruthBeTold7” won second place three times.

“Jesseoboss” from Finland achieved the highest ROI when he won the $55 Mini Main Event and won the main prize of $130,035. The biggest prize money was awarded in the $5,200 Main Event, where there was $1,665,962 for the winner, BigBlindBets.

Soon Deals Allowed at the WPT?

The World Poker Tour is one of the few live tournament series where most events don’t officially allow deals between the last players — resulting in the occasional private deal and heads-up of strange moves.

But now it seems to be changing after Matt Savage announced this week on Twitter that they want feedback from players for a possible introduction of deals.
