What Is Exact Order?

The exact order is a term used in lottery games. It is used to refer to a specific circumstance. This occurs when players only win a prize if they choose the same number sequence that the game produces.

Those playing the lottery don’t have to predict the exact order to become a winner. However, the odds of them winning big greatly increases when they correctly predict the exact order. Yet the odds of being able to do that are not good.

Exact Order Explained

In gambling, the exact order and straight bet are interchangeable terms. It occurs when the sequence of numbers a game produces matches the sequence a player predicted. In a standard lottery game, players must choose six numbers. Those numbers must fall between one and fifty-nine. When players match at least two or three of those six numbers, they win a small cash prize. If they match more than two or three but less than six, the cash prize they win is larger. The biggest winnings go to players who match all six prizes.

Players that guess which numbers a machine will predict will win big, even if they didn’t guess the exact order. In the case of exact order, players have to guess the right numbers in the right order, based on what the machine will pick. The player to win the highest cash prize is the one that predicts the exact order.

The reason for this is that the odds that a player will win this bet are long odds. A player that wins a jackpot in a lottery game has the option of taking an annuity.
