What is Boxcars ?

Named after the boxcars of a freight train, this is the term for a roll of two sixes in the game, Craps. Players can also call a pair of sixes; midnight.
In the casino, advanced player will throw in their chips and call out boxcars (or midnight). Then, the dealer will put the player’s chips, or in the game terminology, ‘book their bet’, on the 12. While the probability of rolling boxcars is around 1 in 36, the odds on the table are 31 to 1. This gives the house the advantage of 13%.
