Game Story

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs continued their steady climb up the standings, while the Los Angeles Clippers continue to look more and more like the worst team in the league.
Maro Elie scored 14 of his 19 points in the first half as the Spurs coasted to their fourth straight win, a 103-82 pounding of lowly Los Angeles.
David Robinson returned from a one-game absence and collected 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs, who have won 16 of their last 18 games. Robinson missed Thursday's win over Vancouver with a left knee injury.
San Antonio moved into a second-place tie with Houston in the Midwest Division, 1 1/2 games behind Utah.
Maurice Taylor scored 25 points and rookie Michael Olowokandi finished with 13 and 10 rebounds for the Clippers, whose latest losing streak reached four. Los Angeles also fell to a league-worst 1-16 on the road.
