Game StoryPHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers had only nine players by the fourth quarter, but it hardly mattered. Glenn Robinson scored a season-high 22 points and rookie Kyle Korver added 16 as the 76ers pulled away for a 95-73 victory over the Orlando Magic. Philadelphia already was without star guard Allen Iverson, who has a sore right knee, and injured center Marc Jackson. It was forced to scratch starting forward Derrick Coleman just before the opening tip due to a knee strain. To make matters worse, forward Kenny Thomas left in the first quarter with the flu and Aaron McKie was lost to a hamstring injury in the third, leaving the Sixers with seven regulars available. "I think you got to keep your bench ready to play, then they have to produce when they come in," Philadelphia coach Randy Ayers said. "I give our bench guys a lot of credit. They came in and did what they had to do." Robinson picked up the slack, making 10-of-20 shots. Korver was 6-of-17 from the field, including 3-of-5 from the arc, as Philadelphia made 9-of-20 3-pointers. "We knew that Derrick was out. Then we found out during the game that Kenny wasn't coming back," Robinson said. "Kyle hit some big threes that loosened up the zone defense that Orlando likes to play in. He did a great job." The Sixers had a 70-64 edge after the third quarter, then scored 23 of the first 26 points in the fourth. The Magic had just nine points on 4-of-16 shooting in the period, missing 13 of its first 14 shots. "You try everything in the book to try to come out of it, but nothing works," Orlando guard Tracy McGrady said. "You try getting your teammates involved and their missing shots, then you try to take it upon yourself to try to makes things happen ... and that's not working. It was all messed up." Philadelphia had an 80-67 edge midway through the final quarter before reeling off 15 consecutive points behind Korver, who had a pair of 3-pointers. He had nine points in the period, when the Sixers made 10-of-20 shots. "We made shots that opened up the fourth quarter for ourselves," McKie said. "Anytime you can make shots that can open up the game for yourself, it's makes it tougher on the other team." McGrady had 20 points but was scoreless in the fourth quarter as the Magic had their season-high three-game winning streak snapped. "We had been playing so well, you just knew that it was going to end soon," McGrady said. "You just knew that we were going to have a bad game come our way. We played a tired game. Everybody was pretty tired from start to finish." Philadelphia made just 8-of-9 free throws - both team records for futility at the Wachovia Center. Orlando was 22-of-35 from the line but shot just 33 percent (23-of-70) overall.
