Germany – Any luck with the gambling treaty?

The next attempt to change the State Treaty on Gaming is one of the central topics at the Gaming Summit 2019 in Berlin.

The history of the State Treaties on Gaming is also a history of failure. They never really worked. They have damaged the legal game – at least involuntarily. And under European law they have always remained a problem case. A new attempt is currently being made to adapt the rules.

What are the plans? What chance do they have? And what consequences are to be expected for the legal game? These questions will be taken up by the large panel discussion at the Gaming Summit 2019. Experts from politics and gaming will discuss regulatory and economic perspectives of a new gambling regulation. With Prof. Dr. Patrick Sensburg (MdB, CDU) and Jürgen Häfner, Managing Director Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, who has taken the lead in the German Lottoblock, proven specialists have confirmed their participation.

The Gaming Summit 2019 on 26 June will once again attract around 400 participants from the vending machine industry, other gaming products, politics, business and science to Berlin. In exciting discussion rounds and informative panels, forward-looking and current questions concerning legal commercial slot machines and other forms of gambling will be discussed. Following the Gaming Summit 2019, the participants are invited to the summer party of the German vending industry in the Teehaus im Englischen Garten in Berlin.
